The history of the Landhotel Buller goes back over 200 years. Starting in 1817 with the Meyer pub, it developed over the years and generations into a 4-star country hotel. In the 1930s, the widowed landlady Luise Meyer married Ludwig Paulus Buller from Glandorf. This is how the name Buller came into being. Through Luise’s first husband, the bakery trade and a grocery store were introduced into the bar in Hagen a.T.W.

Her son, Paul August Buller, today’s senior partner, continued these business areas with his wife Agnes Ortmann and developed the previous one Tavern to a well-known inn in the Osnabrücker Land region. In the 1970s, the commercial bakery and the grocery store were discontinued or closed. Further additions and renovations followed to create more space for restaurant guests.

At the beginning of the 1990s, Paul Ludwig Buller, a trained chef and master chef, joined his parents’ business. With his wife Beate Buller, a trained hotel manager, he is still running the Landhotel Buller in the 4th generation. In the mid-90s, together with the seniors, they laid the foundation stone for today’s country hotel. An extensive new building with a wellness area, several hotel rooms and conference rooms was created before the next larger extension was built in 1999/2000 with the renovation of the kitchen and restaurant area.

Since 2018, their daughter Sophia Buller, a trained hotel manager and Cook and hotel manager, works in the family business and plans to continue running it in the next few years with her husband in the 5th generation.

Simply fantastic, great craftsmanship. Rarely eaten so well in such a beautiful ambience.

Very good service, great food and sophisticated ambience. Large rooms for weddings and big birthdays. Barrier-free and large parking lot. There are many excursion destinations from here. Also suitable for hiking groups.
The generous and high-quality breakfast buffet is one of the best I have enjoyed in recent years.
